Apple is highly anticipated to launch the next-generation iPhones in the iPhone 13 lineup next month. Apple iPhone 13 New Camera Features
The iPhone 13 series is tipped to arrive with a new Portrait mode feature that will bring the ability to record a video in a high-quality format called ProRes. This new video-recording feature will let iPhone users capture clips in a higher-quality format giving editors more control during post-production. It will follow the ProRAW feature that was introduced last year to let professionals get more control over photos. Similar to this ProRes video recording could be exclusive only to the iPhone 13 Pro models. ProRes will record in either HD and 4K resolutions on the upcoming iPhones. Another feature is an extension of the Portrait mode in photos that was introduced with the iPhone 7 Plus to the videos. It will create a Cinematic Video experience, claim the speculations. With this capability, users can create the depth effect and change the amount of blur after recording the video. Also, there could be a new filters-like aspect to enhance the look and colours of photos. The third feature expected to be a part of the iPhone 13 camera is the ability to better control the looks of colours in photos. Users can choose from several styles to apply to their photos including one that will show colours at a warmer or cooler temperature while keeping the whites neutral. It will add a dramatic look with deeper shadows and more contrast. This feature will be different from the standard filters in the iPhone Camera app and apply changes to objects and people all over the photos using AI instead of a single filter throughout a single picture. Notably, these enhancements are believed to be the major selling points of the iPhone 12 successor.
