Asus Zenfone 6 Teaser Details Some of the rumours about the Asus Zenfone 6 series had said that it would come with a notch or a punch-hole style front camera setup, however, Asus has taken a different approach to the design of this smartphone and has ditched the notch most probably in favour of the pop-up selfie camera. Also, another report about the Asus Zenfone 6 had claimed that it was entirely possible that Asus would use the slider mechanism to house the camera on the Asus Zenfone 6 5G version. It is worth noting that the new teaser from Asus is pretty minimalistic and does not give away a lot except for the tagline “Defy Ordinary”. In addition to this, the major takeaway from the teaser video is the bezel-less display design of the upcoming Asus Zenfone 6. Another report had highlighted previously that the Asus Zenfone 6 has already received FCC certification. On the rear side, the phone packs a dual camera setup with the primary sensor being a 48MP one. There have also been talks about the Asus Zenfone 6 coming with 18W fast charging. Zenfone 6 Likely to Pack Snapdragon 855 SoC The Geekbench listing of the device has also been noted by the trackers, as the phone showed up on the benchmark website with the model number ASUS_I01WD. Another benchmark website, AnTuTu also listed the Asus Zenfone 6. As per the AnTuTu listing, the phone is going to debut in 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage option. Since the Asus Zenfone 6 is going to be on the frontlines of this year’s Asus phone line-up, it is going to pack the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 SoC under the hood. Like the other flagships out there, the phone will also boot the Android 9 Pie on the software front. The current flagship from Asus, the Zenfone 5Z retails below the Rs 30,000 price tag and packs the Snapdragon 845 octa-core SoC. This phone will be succeeded by the Asus Zenfone 6Z.
