BSNL Rs 349 Prepaid Plan Now Comes With Ten Days More Validity BSNL launched the Rs 349 prepaid plan back in 2016 to tackle the aggressive entry of Reliance Jio. The Rs 349 prepaid plan from BSNL initially offered benefits for 70 days, but later on, it was reduced to 54 days. However, the telco has now increased the validity to 64 days which will come as a relief for many prepaid users out there. As for the benefits, users will get unlimited voice calling excluding in Delhi and Mumbai telecom circles, 3.2GB daily data and 100 SMSes per day for 64 days. The overall data benefit of Rs 349 plan becomes 204.8GB. Do make a note that BSNL is currently running an additional data offer to its prepaid subscribers across the country, under which it’s offering 2.2GB extra daily data on top of the existing data benefit of the prepaid plan. The Rs 349 plan comes under the eligible list of plans for this offer. Another thing worth noting is the additional data offer is valid until April 30, 2019. The changes are already effective across the country. BSNL Revises Data STVs to Provide Unlimited Data at 40 Kbps Another revision made by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is for the Data only STVs. Recently, we reported that the telco has revised the entry-level Rs 98 prepaid plan and it now offers 2GB data per day and 40 Kbps after FUP speeds. However, it has done the same change to all its data-only plans. The plans in question are Rs 155, Rs 192, Rs 198 and Rs 258. These plans now offer unlimited data benefit, but the speed will be restricted to 40 Kbps post the FUP. The Rs 429 and Rs 485 prepaid recharges are also modified to offer after FUP speeds of 40 Kbps. With this move, BSNL is taking on Reliance Jio which also provides after FUP speed of 64 Kbps with all its prepaid plans. Earlier, after FUP speeds on Jio network used to be 128 Kbps, but Jio has reduced the same to 64 Kbps. Earlier, BSNL used to offer after FUP speeds of 40 Kbps with its prepaid plans of Rs 186, Rs 187 and Rs 999 plan, but now, it has added a plethora of recharges to the list.
