BSNL Rs 399 Prepaid Plan Benefits The first plan that we are talking about is the Rs 399 prepaid plan. This plan is also known as the RakshaBandhan_399 prepaid plan, which was launched during Raksha Bandhan this year. The plan is still available in some circles, and it offers validity of 80 days. It is worth noting that all the other prepaid offerings in this price range from the telecom operators come with 56 days validity. As for the benefits in this prepaid plan, the subscribers enjoy 1GB data per day with after FUP speed of 80 Kbps. Along with this, the subscribers also get access to 100 SMS per day. The calling in this plan remains capped at 250 minutes per day similar to other BSNL prepaid plans. Additionally, there is also free PRBT benefit as well. BSNL Rs 449 Prepaid Plan Benefits Next plan in this list is the Rs 448 prepaid plan from BSNL. The validity of this prepaid plan is 84 days. As for the benefits, this prepaid offers 2GB data to the subscribers till December 31, 2019. The subscribers also get the benefit of 100 SMS per day, and there is the benefit of PRBT as well for the subscribers. The after-FUP speed in this plan is 40 Kbps, and as for calling benefit, the subscribers will have to make do with 250 minutes of calling per day except for Mumbai and Delhi. BSNL Prepaid Plans vs Plans from Private Telcos If we were to compare the BSNL prepaid plans with the newly launched prepaid plans from the private telecom operators, then we would find that the BSNL prepaid plans come with much more validity as compared to the 56 days plans. In the case of Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea, the Rs 399 prepaid plan ships 56 days validity and offers 1.5GB data per day and unlimited calling. The Rs 449 prepaid plan from these telcos offers the same validity, but it ships 2GB data per day to the users. The benefit of unlimited calling remains the same on these plans. In the case of Reliance Jio, these benefits are a little different as the telecom operator is capping the outgoing calls to other operators at 2,000 minutes after which the subscribers will have to pay 6 paise per minute. Do make a note that BSNL is yet to hike the prepaid tariff prices, so both plans mentioned above offer better benefits when compared to tariff plans from private telcos which recently received a major price hike.
