How ‘Crop & Adjust’ Feature Works on Google Photos It is worth noting that the new ‘Crop & adjust’ feature is currently being rolled out to the Google Photos for Android and will come to all users in a phased manner. This means that some may have already got the feature, but others who haven’t got the feature will need to wait a little longer to get their hands on the new ‘Crop & adjust’ feature. Google announced the ‘Crop & adjust’ feature via a post on Twitter. In the tweet, the company mentioned that the ‘Crop & adjust’ feature is coming to Google Photos which will allow users to crop pictures of documents with just a single tap. The company said that the feature is now rolling out to Google photos for Android and will come to all users very soon. The Google Photos app will show the ‘Crop & adjust’ option at the bottom of the screen and once the camera recognises the photo as a document, the app will display three options – Colour, Adjust corners, and Rotate. The users can choose the required option. Features ‘Crop & Adjust’ Option Brings to Users The app will show you a Crop & adjust pill at the bottom of the screen once it recognises the document captured. Tapping the pill brings three options, namely Colour, Adjust corners, and Rotate. The Colour option basically lets users adjust the colours of the picture and in turn, enhance and improve the readability and clarity of the document. The second option is to Adjust the corners. With the Adjust corners option, the users will be able to remove the background of the photo and make the photo cleaner. It helps users clear the edges of the document and improve the clarity of the photo. Lastly, the Rotate option will allow the users to rotate and adjust the photo doc accordingly. Basically, Google just included three of the best features of the Camscanner application to Google Photos.
