Jio IUC Top-Ups: How Do They Work? So in total, Reliance Jio now has a total of six IUC Top-Ups for its prepaid users and they are Rs 10, Rs 20, Rs 50, Rs 100, Rs 500 and Rs 1,000. Every Jio prepaid customer will have to perform these Top-Up recharges on top of the unlimited combo prepaid plans to make voice calls to other operators like Airtel, Vodafone Idea and BSNL. It seems like Jio is bundling these IUC Top-Ups alongside the prepaid plans itself. For example, the Rs 1,699 yearly prepaid plan from Reliance Jio now comes in a total of seven variants- the standard one with 1.5GB data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMSes per day, followed by six variants with different IUC Top-Ups bundled. If a customer wants to choose the IUC Rs 100 Top-Up, then the company will charge Rs 1,699+Rs 100, providing benefits of 365GB data, unlimited voice calls within Jio network, 1,362 IUC minutes, 100 SMSes per day and 10GB of extra data for the Top-Up voucher. Similarly, Jio prepaid users can choose other IUC Top-Up vouchers as well if they think their outgoing voice calls to other networks is high. This is the same case with all other Jio prepaid plans like Rs 9,999, Rs 4,999, Rs 1,999, Rs 999, Rs 799, Rs 599, Rs 509, Rs 498, Rs 448, Rs 398, Rs 198, Rs 98, Rs 449, Rs 349, Rs 149 and Rs 399. Also, the validity of these IUC Top-Up vouchers seems to be unlimited, which is a very good thing to note. What Does Jio’s New IUC Vouchers of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 Provide? Yesterday, Jio confirmed that it’s launching four new IUC Top-Up vouchers to the prepaid customers, priced at Rs 10, Rs 20, Rs 50 and Rs 100. However, there are two more IUC vouchers aimed at the heavy voice calling users and they’re priced at Rs 500 and Rs 1,000. The Rs 500 IUC Top-Up offers a user 7,012 minutes of off-net voice calls to other networks and 50GB of free data. The Rs 1,000 voucher ships with 14,074 minutes of voice calls to other networks, along with 100GB of free data. These IUC Top-Ups from Reliance Jio are basically the talk time plans from the company. To recall, Reliance Jio even offered talk time plans in the past, but they served no purpose as users were not able to make voice calls without an unlimited combo plan which are attractive than the talk time plans. Jio’s talk time plan of Rs 10 offers Rs 7.47 talk time which converts to 124 minutes. Also, talk time plans from Reliance Jio offered full talk time, but it has now been changed. Not even a single talk time plan from Jio offers full talk time benefit now, which is underwhelming.
