In addition to this, the regulatory body has also listed the plans which have the same recharge date every month. The Telecommunications Standards Development Society of India (TSDSI) has asked the Telecommunication Engineering Center (TEC) to not go ahead with the 5Gi (India’s indigenous 5G standard) adoption as the national standard 5G technology. TEC is the department that operates under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). Private companies, as well as telecom bodies, were against the adoption of the 5Gi standard in India. According to an ET Telecom report, TSDSI has said that it will follow the 5G standard developed by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP)....

Vivo Shipped 6.7 Million Smartphones in First Quarter of 2020 The BBK-owned Smartphone manufacturer Vivo shipped whooping 6.7 million smartphones from January to March, whereas Samsung shipped 6.3 million smartphones in the same quarter. Samsung witnessed a decline in the shipment by nearly 14% in the first quarter, which slipped the company in the third position. Also, the market share of Samsung, which was 18.9% has declined to 13.7%. Apart from Vivo, Realme turned out to be another big gainer in the list....
