WhatsApp Cart feature was launched back in 2020 to elevate the shopping experience of users. The ‘Add to Cart’ option allows users to pick desired items from different catalogues posted by different merchants and shop in the Facebook-owned platform. TDSAT July 2 Order to Independent TV and Antrix To recall, in its July 2, 2019 order, TDSAT had ordered Independent TV to either pay Antrix Rs 5.83 crore cash and Rs 6 crore in bank guarantees. Or, the DTH operator also had the option of altogether furnishing Rs 12 crore worth of bank guarantees for the next two months which would ensure the resumption of signal for Independent TV....

Back then, it was announced that the Centre is planning to provide Wi-Fi within trains in four and a half years. There are many challenges in the same as it requires investment for the towers and equipment to be fitted both outside and within the trains. It also required investors from abroad. The Indian Space Organisation (ISpA) on Tuesday announced the National Advisory Committee (NAC) for boosting the cooperation amongst the stakeholders and building a 360-degree perspective in shaping the contours of the private space industry ecosystem in India. Dr Arvind Gupta, Director of Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) will be the chairperson of the newly formed committee. There are nine members in the NAC right now from different backgrounds including tech, defence, academia, bureaucracy, and the space industry....

Indian telecom operators are soon going to implement a tariff hike. The expected hike is before the end of FY23 or March 2023. Airtel has already tested a tariff hike in two circles by removing the base Rs 99 plan and making the Rs 155 plan as the new base option for consumers. This is an open invitation for the other telecom operators to join in as well. Telcos need money to expand existing digital infrastructure, which includes the fiberisation of towers and deploying small cells to aid with the 5G rollout....

The Chinese smartphone brand iQOO has just launched its much-awaited iQOO 9 series of smartphones in India. The series consists of iQOO 9 Pro, iQOO 9, and the iQOO 9 SE models. All three devices feature chipsets from Qualcomm and the iQOO 9 Pro is the premium model of the series that comes with the latest and most powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen1. On the other hand, the iQOO 9 SE model is the cheapest offering in the lineup....

iQOO is a Chinese smartphone brand that recently launched the iQOO 7 smartphone series in India. Now the company is expected to launch another smartphone in the country, namely iQOO Z3. The special thing about this smartphone is that it is expected to launch with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G, which was launched earlier this month itself. There are nine parameters on which the similarity/uniqueness analysis was done between iQOO Z5 5G and iQOO Z6 Pro 5G; out of nine, three parameters are 100% similar. Those parameters are camera, processor, and connectivity which means there was no innovation added or done on those parameters of both the smartphones, and only on six parameters some degree of innovation/changes had done and added on both the smartphones and the parameters on which changes are done are display, battery, storage, design, launch price, and launch price vs current price....

Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea (Vi) have been voicing against the administrative allocation of the spectrum that Bharti Airtel and other satellite communications (satcom) companies want. The issue is, Airtel, a major stakeholder of the satcom company OneWeb and other satcom companies want that spectrum for the satellite players should not be given through an auction but through administrative allocation. But Jio and Vodafone Idea (Vi) want that anyone who wants their hands on spectrum for communication services should get it from the auctions so that transparency can be maintained....
