Going by the changelog posted on Mi Community, MIUI 11 update for Redmi K20 brings comprehensive design optimised for full-screen display devices. The Always-On display has got some new features and it now offers dynamic themes, signature addition as a wake-up message, and new screen effects. All the MIUI 11 features like file opener integration to Mi File Manager app, new Mi Tasks app, floating calculator app and all dynamic sound effects are added to the Redmi K20. Xiaomi also tweaked app icons to some extent, but it’s still providing the old icons which many users may still prefer. App Vault has received a design refresh as well and there are some new features to the Game speed booster as well. Redmi K20 users can disable key features like three-finger screenshot, auto-brightness and reading mode whenever the game booster mode starts. MIUI 11 update is bring rolled out to the Redmi K20 users in a phased manner and that too via over-the-air. Here’s When Your Xiaomi Phone Will Receive MIUI 11 Update Xiaomi has revealed the complete roadmap of MIUI 11 update for 2019. In the first batch, popular Xiaomi phones like the Poco F1, Redmi K20, Redmi Y3, Redmi Note 7S, Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi 7 will receive the stable update. The first phase is between October 22 and October 31. In the second phase, phones like the Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi 6 Pro, Redmi 6A, Redmi 6, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Note 5, Redmi 4, Redmi Y2, Mi Mix 2, Mi Max 2, Redmi Y2, Redmi Y1, Redmi Y1 Lite, Redmi 5A will get the update. The second phase will begin on November 4 and will continue till November 12. As for the third phase that begins on November 13, smartphones like the Redmi Note 8, Redmi 8, Redmi 8A, Redmi 7A and Redmi Note 6 Pro will receive the update. In the last phase of 2019, the Redmi Note 8 Pro will get the update.
