Reliance Jio Offering Less Prices for Same Data Firstly, talking about the plans which come with one-month validity. Reliance Jio is offering a 1.5GB per day data plan to the users, which costs Rs 199. However, the other telcos, Airtel and Vodafone Idea are offering the same data limit on their Rs 248 and Rs 249 per month plan. Similarly, there is a little difference in the 2GB per day plan as well. While the Reliance Jio plan will be available for Rs 249 per month in this case, the incumbents are charging Rs 298 and Rs 299 per month. There would also be an approximate difference of Rs 50 in the 3GB per day plan too with Reliance Jio offering it for Rs 349 and the other telcos charging almost Rs 400. The trend also continues for plans which come with longer validity. For example, in the case of three month period with plans which come for 84 or around 90 days validity. In this case, Reliance Jio offers the 1.5GB daily data plan for Rs 555, whereas Airtel and Vodafone Idea are offering comparable data benefits at Rs 598 and Rs 599 respectively. For 2GB daily data limit plans in this validity period, the subscribers will be paying Rs 599 in the case of Reliance Jio and Rs 698 and Rs 699 respectively for Airtel and Vodafone Idea. Data is Cheap But Calling is Not So, there is no doubt that the telecom subscribers will be enjoying better data rates on Reliance Jio as compared to all the other private telecom operators. Reliance Jio has been the go-to option for people looking for more data with less cost, and the telco is still living up to this hype. However, although data is something that will cost less for the subscribers, the customers will still need to note that the calling feature would be something that they would have to bear the cost for, in the case of Reliance Jio. All-in-One Plans are the Solution Although the other incumbents are charging a little more for these plans, they also come with 1000 minutes of off-net calling in the case of monthly plans and 3000 minutes of off-net calling in the case of three monthly plans. But, that is not the case with Reliance Jio as the telco asks the users to get a new separate IUC talk time voucher with its data plans. But, if the plan is an all-in-one plan, then the subscribers would not have to get a separate IUC talk time voucher. Therefore, if more data is what you’d like to have, then recharging your Reliance Jio number with some of these plans would be the right call.
