Reportedly, Samsung is working on a new smartphone in the A series called the Galaxy A73. This smartphone is speculated to be launched sometime in 2022. Now, a report speculates that the South Korean tech giant is all set to include the support for OIS in all devices under the Galaxy A series next year. Also, it has been tipped that the Galaxy A73 could be a camera prowess.
First Smartphone With 108MP Camera
As per a report by The Elec, a South Korean publication, Samsung is in plans to launch a new smartphone - the Samsung Galaxy A73 in the first half of next year. Like the other smartphones in the series, this device will also get support for OIS. Besides this, the upcoming Samsung smartphone in question is said to be the first one in the A series to house a 108MP main camera sensor. The Samsung Galaxy A73 will come as the sequel to the Galaxy A72 that went official this year. The current-generation model features a 64MP primary camera sensor with OIS support, a 12MP secondary ultra-wide-angle lens, an 8MP tertiary telephoto lens and a 5MP fourth macro lens. At the front, it bestows a 32MP selfie camera sensor. Being a sequel to the Galaxy A72, the 108MP camera sensor on the upcoming Samsung smartphone in the A series will definitely be considered a remarkable improvement.
Samsung Galaxy A73 Expected Specs
As of now, there is nothing much known about the Samsung Galaxy A73. The smartphone is likely to flaunt a Snapdragon 7 series processor teamed up with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage space. It is speculated to use an AMOLED panel as its predecessor and have a high refresh rate and a capacious battery with fast charging support. It is tipped that the Galaxy A73 could be launched with IP67 rating for water and dust resistance and run Android 12 OS topped with the company’s upcoming One UI 4.0. Notably, its latest custom skin One UI 4.0’s beta version was recently rolled out to the Galaxy S21 series flagship smartphones with a wider rollout coming soon. Given that its launch is months away from now, we can expect further reports to be surfaced online in the meantime.
