Xiaomi Mi A3 Details It is worth noting that the Xiaomi Mi A3 is clearly the variant of the Mi CC9e which was launched in China a few weeks back. However, for the global debut of this device the phone has been rebranded as the Xiaomi Mi A3. Some of the highlights of the Mi A3 include the 48MP primary sensor on the rear side, the Snapdragon 665 SoC and more. Mi A3 Specifications The dual-SIM (Nano) Mi A3 will run Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box, and it sports a 6.08-inch HD+ display rendering a resolution of 720x1520 pixels. This screen will be an AMOLED display with a waterdrop-style notch; hence, it will feature an aspect ratio of 19:9. The screen also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 which will protect it from falls and scratches. Another highlight of the Mi A3 will be that it will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. As for the performance, the Mi A3 will sport the Snapdragon 665 SoC, and the chipset will come accompanied by 4GB RAM. When it comes to the camera performance, it is expected that the Mi A3 will live up to the reputation of the Mi A2. The Mi A3 packs a triple rear camera setup which comprises of a 48MP f/1.79 lens, paired with an 8MP sensor which is a 118-degree wide-angle lens and another 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the Xiaomi Mi A3 sports a 32MP sensor for selfies. The phone has debuted in Spain in two storage variants which include the 64GB and 128GB variant, and the device will also allow for expansion of the storage with a microSD card. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Under the hood, the device comes with a 4,030mAh battery. Xiaomi Mi A3 Pricing and Availability For the global launch of this device, the price has been set at EUR 249 (about Rs 19,200) for the 64GB storage variant, whereas the higher 128GB variant of the phone will be available for EUR 279 (about Rs 21,500). The official sale of the phone is slated to begin on July 24. Also, Xiaomi has announced three colour variants of this smartphone including the “Not Just Blue”, “More Than White”, and “Kind of Gray” options. There has been no news about the Indian pricing of the Mi A3 until now.
